Truckers can’t jump from their cabs
and go find an expert every time they need answers to trucking business
problems.
However, a new series of audio CDs
puts truckers’ business problems on ice – or I.C.E. In response to many
requests from truckers, the In-Cab Education (I.C.E.) Workshops are now
being released on audio CD. Buying a specialized CD puts experts from many
areas of the trucking business right into the truck cab with the driver.
I.C.E. Workshops have been taught –
and enthusiastically received – since April of 2006, via a phone
conference bridge which brings audio education right to the trucker’s cell
phone, no matter what area of the country the truck is currently
traveling. Hosted by Tim Brady, Sirius Satellite
Road Dog Trucking Radio's Trucking Business Expert, he begins each
workshop with a white paper report on that evening’s topic. Then workshop
participants join a round-table discussion approach to solving that
particular trucking business problem.
“I’ve been in this business a lot of
years, and I’m still learning something new every week,” one trucker said,
after having been on board for a number of the workshops. The workshop is
taped as it occurs, which puts current, real-world solutions for problems
onto each I.C.E. audio CD as the truckers contribute to the brainstorming
session.
The In-Cab Education Audio Workshop CDs
are edited and mastered by S & E Productions of Nashville, thus ensuring
sound quality and subject focus. The CDs are copyrighted by Write Up The
Road Publishing, home of Brady’s top-selling trucking business books.
